In math we continue with shapes and nutrition in science. We will finish our discussion of the Holy Family in religion this week but will continue with Advent and adding to our Jesse Tree.

We are discussing Advent and the Holy Family in religion and will begin a science unit on Nutrition. In math we begin our geometry unit. Geometry skills to be taught this week will include plane shapes, solid shapes, classifying and sorting.
The K-2 musical is Thursday evening at 7 p.m. We will be having rehersal time all week and a dress rehersal for the school will be on Thursday afternoon.
Everyone is invited to the all school Mass of Giving on Tuesday, November 24th at 8:15 a.m.

Mass parts have been assigned for our mass next week. We will be practicing in the church this week during our religion time to prepare for Nov. 24th.
Friday is Mission Awareness Dress Down Day to benefit Kids Against Hunger.

Friday is the end of Trimester 1 so we took a review spelling test on all the spelling words we have had so far. Students are only responsible for the words they missed.

In Math we begin Chapter 3 – Subtraction. In Religion we are discussing Mary and the Saints in preparation for all Saints Day. In Science we are looking at pumpkins and apples and how they grow.
